We’re thrilled to share Nodland Elementary and Sunnyside Elementary received a “High Performing" rating in the latest Iowa School Performance Profile ratings for the 24-25 school year.
This ranking reflects dedication from our staff, hard work from our students, and continued support from our families. With them, we continue to believe, achieve, and succeed every day!

Homecoming isn’t the only celebration this week! 🎉
Last year, our teachers began using the Character Strong social-emotional learning curriculum daily in each classroom. Each month, students focus on a new character trait. For September, we highlighted Respect—seeing value in all people and things, and treating them with care.
New this year: Teachers will be recognizing students who shine in each month’s trait. We’re excited to celebrate our Respect Award winners below! Way to Go, Future Raiders! 🧡🤍🖤
October’s focus is Responsibility—we can’t wait to see whose faces will be featured next! 😊
This Homecoming is extra special as we celebrate 100 Years of East High pride. Did you know several of our current staff members are also proud East High alumni? 🧡🖤
